2 · The receipt
Seal the record and a receipt appears here: a fixed-length fingerprint of exactly those characters, plus the time it was taken. Then change one digit and check it again.
Computed locally with the Web Crypto API. Nothing is uploaded and no production receipt is issued. A match shows the record is unchanged since it was sealed — it does not show the work it describes was performed, or performed correctly.
What it does not show
It says nothing about whether the work described was performed, or performed correctly.
